Rockfax Description
An excellent sport route at a reasonable grade. Take care with route finding on the 10th pitch, as there is a short traverse left along a ledge which is easily missed. Very well-equipped and on mostly excellent rock. Bolts are sparse on some of the easier pitches so a small trad rack is recommended.
Start below a prominent crack running left to right.

βeta: We were compelled by reports of excellent rock and brilliant pitches, but felt that it was overall fairly mediocre, although we just came from Lofoten where the rock is actually good and the routes amazing; in comparison this is proper choss. Maybe it’s good by Dolomites standards? Can’t say I’ll repeat it or recommend it to friends, but it was a nice enough day out. Single Cams from .4 - 1 were useful, nuts were a waste of time. Generally it’s bolted or it’s easy, though there are some exceptions. Approached from Colfosco; 12.5hr door to door. Saw a deer! | βeta? | |
