This remote and scenic peak has a classic grade I scramble as well as some harder winter and trad routes in the Corrie of the Chockstone Gully.
The closest bothy is Garbh Coire bothy (NN 959 986), which can accommodate a couple of people. As of March 2015, bothy is there, but a half ruin with the broken door and not rain-proof.
