Rockfax Description
75m. An exciting climb which takes a twin-cracked chimney, to the right of a cave. It is 20m left of the big overhanging gully. The pitches can be split. Start below a crack between two overhangs.
1. 40m 4b Climb the rib right of the crack for 3m, traverse left into a chimney, then climb to where the chimney forks. Ascend the right wall for a few metres until forced into the tight chimney. Ascend this, then continue up the crack on the right to a sentry box below an overhanging chockstone.
2. 35m 4b Thread the chockstone (take care, it moves), climb the nose on the left and climb to a ledge. Layback the right-hand crack, then cross to the left-hand crack, which is followed by a short scramble.
3. Easier climbing leads rightwards to the top of the Stone Chute.
