On the slope of Carrock fell, this Gabbro slab may only hold a few climbs but they are of an excellent quality and definitely worth a visit. The approach is up through the boulder field and in summer and autumn this is quite overgrown with bracken.
Park on the road as for Carrock Fell boulders Southern Group. The Crag is easily identifiable peeking out from the trees directly above the large undercut boulder. It should be noted that the crag is rapidly being reclaimed by nature, particular the dreaded bramble. Access is not easy at the moment and is likely to get worse (2020).
