FM Lamagan Slabs - last slab pitch before exit cracks. © Ronaldo
The main slabs of Lamagan offer long low-grade climbs in a great situation.
On the Western Slope of the mountain is a large split slab. Lamagan Buttress is the small crag overlooking Lower Cove.
Situated 50m up the hill from FM and just to the right of Cherchez La start is a newly developed buttress from Ian Rea and Kieran O'Hara (2024) offering 4 excellent routes at amenable grades, with insitu belay at top for all 4 routes and allowing a retrievable abseil so all the routes can be done in a very good days outing. The wall offers lovely views of the annalong valley and can be sunny when the weather permits.
Walk in along the Annalong Valley.
Approach time: 1 hour
