Crag features
There are a number of small crags on the coastline to the south of the picturesque village of Solva. Harbour Wall is best located by walking to the end of Penrhyn (overlooking St Elvis Rock) finding the impressive overhanging wall of Afia Zawn and then scrambling down a ramp to its right (looking out) and working round to the foot of the righthand end of the short but steep buttresses of Harbour Wall at mid to low tide. Currently the start of the descent is marked by an interesting pebble 'nest' sculpture. Approach from the other (left, looking at the crag from the bottom) end is steeper and best abseiled.Despite some of the modestly graded routes, not ideal for beginners and not as friendly as it looks in the photos in the BMC guide!
Approach notes
Approach from Solva or Pointz Castle Farm car parks in 20 mins. Parking at the harbour is free only during the winter months.Currently marked as bird banned on UKC but not mentioned on RAD and no signs (or nesting birds) at crag.
Restricted Access
There a two sectors, the left-hand (northern) area is approached by a 20 m abseil. The right hand section can be reached by scrambling.
