Approach notes

From Krottensee follow signs to Maximilliansgrotte (show cave).  Continue past the cave on a gravel road.  Keep going for 1.6km until you reach a hikers' car park on the right (just after a junction and a wooden table and chairs).  Park  here and then cross the gravel road and follow a path uphill until you reach the crag Steinerne Stadt.  Turn left just after the first buttress of this crag (about 80m from the road and following the green dot walking route).  Spitzer Turm is about 50m further down the path to the left.  5 mins from the car park.
