βeta: Agree with below, wouldn't risk a 60m rope for a 30m abseil. To be comfortable plan for a 40m abseil. The abseil station (on right of gully if looking down and not in the gully itself) has a couple of lines to ab down. Make sure you take a line that keeps left (looking down) so you abseil perpendicular to the gully, if you abseil rightwards there are a number of pinch points where ropes can get jammed. | ||

βeta: I don't know if a mod could look at some of the comments here. My understanding is that the abseil is far more than 30m so wouldn't want someone to go up with a 60m single rope and get hurt. | βeta? | |
