UKC Logbook - 'The Sand-Pyper Direct'

150m, 5 pitches. Hard to find the right line in the first pitches and hs some very bold climbing, particularly pitch three.

rjbrady	3 Sep, 2024	Show βeta βeta: If you find yourself sitting in the valley looking at this seemingly king line glimmering in the sun thinking "wow multiple parties on shelterstone and hell's lum, can't believe nobody is on this line let's do it"...... don't do it. If you are reading this post-hoc and you happen to have found and retreived gear left on what was certainly not pitch 4 from a belay set up on a 2ft wide grassy ledge that certainly shouldn't have held 3 people on it in the pitch black, please message me.	βeta?

OllyGibb	28 Jul, 2024	Show βeta βeta: High chance of getting lost at every pitch, the topo and description lacked the details we needed to navigate the ledges. Lots of moss and grass on exposed traverses. Got off route for the last pitch and had to aid up a 6a. That being said it\'s a beautiful location and a the rock was a lot dryer than Hells Lum, was very adventurous and a fun scramble at the end	βeta?
