280m, 10 pitches. Direct line up the impressive south facing wall of Steinkarspitze, visible all the way from the parking lot. The rock is largely very solid dolerite with a wonderful mix of slab climbing, corners and crack climbing leading to the top. The 4th pitch is the crux of the route but is relatively well protected with bolts - some larger cams would be useful here nonetheless. The upper pitches are very sparsely bolted but can be relatively well protected with a set of small/medium nuts.
Abseil decent over the line of the route is recommended providing no other teams are on the route, otherwise an alternative abseil piste should be used (abseil rings are rather old here). Short abseils (25m-30m) are recommended due to the very rough rock and high chance of getting stuck ropes over longer distances.
