Start at an obvious arete about 25m up the gully, climb the arete directly to gain a spur, follow this and move slightly left behind a large pinnacle to reach a steep cracked wall, climb this to a small stance then finish up the large book corner on the right to gain the crest of the buttress, follow this to the ridge.
