32m. At the far left of the Weirding Wall is a broken bay above the Frog Pond, bounded on the left by an arête. Pitch 1,Climb this using pockets and trees for protection, at the top the arête fades into the headwall where there is a good ledge with two ‘cavers bolts’ as a belay. Pitch 2 . Climb directly above the bolts, then bear left to a short corner, which leads to the top. About 2 metres back from the edge is a stout Hawthorn bush with a wire strip round it, belay to this. It may be possible to exit into the field, depending on the season or thickness of Brambles but it is probably preferable to abseil back down the route, keeping away from the oblivion which awaits over the edge of the arête.

Meehan and Bazley alt leads 31/Mar/2022.
