A relatively minor crag up to 20m high shrouded in trees with rock of a variable nature. Some good sport routes added in 2013 and a handful of trad routes dotted along the crag. The best of the bunch is Northern's Can't Climb, an excellent line of very good rock which was once E5 6b, and has recently been bolted at 7a (the bolts may come out).
Park on the opposite side of the road leading into Cucklet Delf (sign calls it Eyam Delf) and pass through the gate into the Nature Reserve. After 50 yards a track on the left leads up the hillside and around leftwards onto the roadside to gain a zig-zag path leading to the right-hand end of the crag.
The mid grade routes tend to be quite good but need care the easy routes are poor and the dangerous side of loose. Bulls Crack - 18/Oct/14 |
