A gritstone quarry in a lovely position above White Coppice, and although the climbing isn't the most spectacular, there are some decent, clean, and challenging routes - a good evening venue to escape the dreaded Wilton/Anglezarke midges. Care required with loose rock on some topouts.

Only park in the cricket club car park when on weekdays or when there is no match on. Alternative parking can be found on the rough approach road.

|Nice place to go for an evening. Good view and midges kept away by the breeze. Some of the routes need a bit of gardening and some of the top outs are very loose.|

|on first inspection this didn't look a very nice place to climb. However as soon as we got stuck in, it became apparant that it has a really nice aspect, the quality of the rock is good, belays aren't a problem, nothing is polished, although some of the top outs can be a little loose - all in all, very pleasant, definitely worth a couple of evenings for the sub HVS leader with plenty of lines, with a few tricky routes for the hard man. |
