βeta: Bold but easy enough first pitch - as the rock is very compact. Many possible ways to ‘follow the obviously line’ (?!) across the face to the trees/block belay for P1. Excellent climbing. | βeta?

βeta: An enjoyable route but fairly easy for the VS grade and a bit scrappy in places. Not as good as Asseldrar Welcome. Some loose and questy ground... Orange groove is chimney to left, not steep crack or orange corner groove further right. I followed my nose on p.2. and climbed a steepish groove on rattly jugs... apparently missing the "fantastic traverse" of c.3m that is mentioned by Broadbent. Broadbent guide description better than Alford and Donnithorne guide, as per usual, though the latter guide is more accurate as to VS grade. | βeta?
