Crag features

A good introduction to quarried grit climbing with in situ belay spikes.

In situ belay spikes are no longer there. Instead, there are concreted in round metal beams, set back from the edge. The edge has been reinforced with wooden beams bolted into place. There are also signs that groups and individuals should contact the wardens to get permission to use the facility.

Approach notes

Tegg's Nose car park off A537. After paying to park (!!) head out of entrance to car park. Follow path on left for 5-10 mins; crag on right hand side

A few good routes, quite dirty and bold. Take plenty of very small gear. Found route spotting very hard - topo at http://www.wikitopo.com/crag.php?cragId=514 please update if you have better info.
