Tegness Pinnacle - 10th April 1976 © Martyn Maltby
This pleasant pinnacle is tucked away in a small quarry, only minutes from the Froggatt parking. The Original Route is the most popular climb though they are all worth doing. Moonlight ascents, headstands and all the usual malarky have been practised here! There are another 20 or so short and poor routes in the quarry.
From the Grouse/Froggatt parking, head right through the wood and follow the track overlooking the valley until the quarry with its pinnacle appears below. The easiest descent is just beyond the quarry.
Some good bouldering has been developed in the woods as of late and could do with traffic to keep it clean, starts at V1 up to about V5. al123 - 01/May/12 |
