Crag features

A medium-sized erratic of Torridonian sandstone, exposed to the wind and with a lovely view over Torridon. Problems are described widdershins from the obvious prow overlooking Loch Torridon - the very fine Balgy Prow 7A.

Approach notes

The Balgy Boulder is a prominent sandstone erratic on the South side
of Upper Loch Torridon. It is 7km (4.5miles) west of Annat heading
towards Shieldaig on the A896. The boulder can be clearly seen on
the East side of the road. Park at a wooded lay-by on the right side (at
837542). Opposite the lay-by head up a vague stream line for 30sec
turn left onto a path and after 2 or 3 mins you will find the boulder to the left of the path.

No Access Issues
