Woodland erratic. Small in height with plenty of eliminates.
Approach notes
Park at the Duck Pond and head west along the new road, take the old access road into the woods and continue up through the green gate by the houses. At the junction (start of the zig-zags) continue on for ~100m and take the bike trail up into the woods. The boulder is in a copse of oak trees and can be seen ~30m to the left as the trail begins to cut back right.

No access issues. Limited parking at the duck pond.
| Enjoyed a visit to this boulder but found it hard to locate - directions could be improved:
Note that 'green gate' is now a grey metal barrier. Start of bike trail mentioned is at the first gap in wire fence on right - don't take later trails. I think map location is wrong, as it shows location as being below track; it is above (to the right of) the track. simonclark061 - 02/Jun/20 |
