Drytooling crag opened by Eric Dumerac on Grotto Mountain. Very good and a variety of routes. Fully bolted with lower offs. Take a 60m rope and draws. Does not rely on ice fully climable year round. http://www.sportandmixedclimbing.com/mixed_areas/playground.htm
Approach notes
Drive from canmore down the 1A towards calgary until you pass the quarry entrance on your right, parking is the next turnout, rimmed with large stone blocks (about 10 minutes from Canmore). From the parking follow the obvious trail until about 100m before the power lines. Take the flagged trail (left) and continue along the trail (cairns) for about 50 minutes.
