505m, 14 pitches.

Rockfax Description
The beautiful long ridge climb is described here in 14 pitches, though this is only a rough guideline. There are fixed belays but it is also possible for experienced parties to move together. A light rack is required with plenty of slings. The route should take between 3 to 4 hours to complete.

Descent - From the top, go leftwards across the ridge for 200m to find a way back down to the base of the ridge - no real path. Alternatively, continue for another 80m to an old track that leads to the base of the ridge. © Rockfax

βeta: Don't do this route. At least not this time of year (late spring, summer) The walk off is the worst we've ever done. The route is fun, but It's not worth it Even with trousers. Spiky bushes as big as you are all the way down.

βeta: The route itself is good fun, essentially a scramble with a couple of harder sections. However, make sure you wear/take some trousers for the walk off, unless you're a fan of having your legs totally scratched to bits by spiky Mediterranean bushes.

βeta: Continued up over the top of Pizzo de Sella for a longer, more fun day. Much more worthwhile than heading down the descent track. 2 ½ hours from campsite to the top of the scramble, 2 ½ hours over the top to the col beneath Cozzo Mondello, then an hour back to the campsite. No need for nuts, just quickdraws and slings. No need for any kit after the initial ridge finishes.
