The most central of the Rum Cuillin is slightly lower than its neighbours but gives a particularly fine viewpoint. On its southern flanks of the West Ridge lie Harris Buttress, the largest cliff on Rum and further west, Triangular Buttress. These cliffs are hidden from all viewpoints to the north and east, being best seen from Ainshval.
From Kinloch (the quickest and most scenic), go over the Bealach Barkeval and traverse Atlantic Corrie to Bealach an Oir, then traverse under the southeast face to Bealach an Fhuarain and traverse west to Harris Buttress. Triangular Buttress is located further to the west.
