The Via Ferrata is 700m long and gains 500m of height, its mainly on slabs with a lot of staples, there are some grassy sections to cross but they don't detract much from the climbing.
In the upper part there are some steeper sections and at one point it splits, left seems to be the original route which contains some ladders according to documentation online, straight up looks very new (in 2025) and takes a steeper direct line to the finish at the Swiss flag (this is not documented yet online).
The difficulty is given B/C or K2-3 in local /German grades.
Descent, from the Swiss flag take the path upwards and then to the right to join the main path which zigzags down to Andermatt, 1 to 1.5 hrs.
