βeta: The crux has several possible sequences. I used the undercling half-pad pocket and big sidepull on the edge of the roof, having gotten my feet on small edges roughly below me, then stood up into the movement and reached for the sidepull in the groove (just at the limit of my 5'9" reach). James, with a 5'7" wingspan, did the more typical method of using both holds above the roof and moving dynamically into the groove with a wide left foot, taking care to control the barn door. | ||
