Less continuous than its lower neighbour, Upper Cove nevertheless offers a selection of very good routes across a line of south-facing buttresses. Like Slieve Beg, it suffers unjustified neglect because of its comparatively lengthy approach.

Allow 1.5 hrs to walk in up the Annalong Valley.
