Crag features

High on the south side of the valley is the enormous wall of Upper Eagle Crag, stretching for over a mile from the summit of Lower Eagle Crag at its eastern end to the Hidden Valley behind Griffon Rock. This sombre, north-facing wall is home to long, remote, and adventurous routes mostly in the extreme grades, with a surprisingly straightforward approach (20 mins) and a descent down a pleasant gully just to the right of the Cardiac Aretes Area.
