Poios contains various excellent sectors with a number of contrasting routes from technical vertical walls to overhanging steep juggy routes and include huge roof ceilings that blast out into space.Some good new routes have recently been added to Senhor sector - see topo at https://www.fpme.org/webpu/index.php/zonas-de-escalada/croquis/352-vale-dos-poios-senhores-dos-poios
Approach notes
Access as for Redinha, but at the church in Poios, take the dirt track between some stone walls to gain the parking at the end.
Follow the marked footpath in red - the GR 26. After a few minutes from the parking, take the footpath uphill on the left. This ascends diagonally up to the Microondas sector. If you are going to the shady south side, keep low on the GR 26. The paths up the south side are very steep.
