The beginning is very easy, it's more of a walk on a slightly steep path. The via leads into a nice little gully, a little climbing and not very difficult. At the exit of the gully, we are almost at the top but the via goes to the left to access a viewpoint on the river below. The last part is more difficult, you have to climb the rock quite a bit only equipped with the lifeline. The last 10 meters are the hardest of the via: you cling to the bars on a slight slope with a rather slippery surface for your feet. This passage is done very well if you have a little physical condition.
Approach notes
From France, via the Garonne valley, cross the border at Fos au Pont du Roy towards Vielha. Continue towards Lleida, pass the Vielha tunnel. Pass Pont de Suert, the Escales tunnels, continue on the A 138 to the junction with the N 123. Take the direction of Benabarre. At kilometer 16 sign "Puente de la Sierra". Park on the right before a tunnel. Take the old road to Graus over a stone bridge. You will easily find the cables.- Other possibility
Go to the village of Olvena and park in the parking lot at the entrance to the village.
To reach the start and the cables, enter the village and turn left twice (the village is small, it is difficult to make a mistake and the people are extremely nice, they willingly indicate the start of the via). You then have to go down the GR 18 which passes above the village. The descent lasts 10 min - 15 min and the start of the via is located on the GR.
