Crag features
Vlychada is unbelievable, it is most people's dream crag! Bulletproof limestone rises just above an amazing pebbled beach and the emerald sea below is clean and welcoming. A road goes all the way down to the beach where tents and campervans are welcome. There are fully functioning toilets at the beach as well as George's excellent beachside canteen which offers refreshments and food in the warmer months.
The crag was created in September 2016 by Aris Theodoropoulos, Claude Idoux and George Kopalides. The climbing is on very good grey and red limestone with prominent features, pockets and tufas.
Approach notes
Vlychada is 32km from Kyparissi. From Kyparissi drive to Harakas village then continue to Lampokampos and Reichea. At Reichea village turn left following the signs to Vlychada 8km. The road to the beach is narrow but in good condition. At the beach park on the left at the white building, the short path starts to the left of the building.
