Head west following yellow marker paint, past the start of Dri Hornli traverse. Follow paint all the way to the start of the route. Impossible to get lost! Start of route has a large yellow Sun painted in the rock (2hrs).
Climb a groove to the ridge (100m), lots of bolts for protection (not all sound). Once at the ridge proper climb the crest almost exclusively to the firm snow. Continue over a small snow dome to join the normal route to the summit (2hrs).
