Crag features

Nice Crag. Green and too many shrubs high up so this is better suited to bouldering.

Perfect on a hot evening as shaded enough by trees to make it acceptable

This is the only Limestone Crag featured in a Gritstone Bouldering guide. Tons of quality traverses and plenty of rock for opening up new problems.

Approach notes

On entering Wetherby follow signs for the town centre. Turn into the Wilderness car park, via a very narrow lane next on the north side of the River Wharfe bridge. A parking sign next to the bridge is a useful guide to find the car park. Crag is located at the far end of the car park beyond the BBQ/picnic table area.

the other problem now is that the routes have become overly shiny. its like climbing glass in places.

The main problem with this is that the green and shrubs at the top mean that when you get high its difficult. This is definitely suited to bouldering but mainly traversing as the top outs are very high.
