The most popular route at White Ghyll has two contrasting pitches - the first a lovely wall and the second in a thrilling position. Start on a ledge below the large central corner.1) 4a, 20m. Move up the corner for a little way then transfer onto the right wall. Climb it on good holds all the way to a large belay ledge, below the right end of the overhang at the top of the corner.2) 4b, 20m. Traverse left into the corner and make a stride out onto the arete. Move up steeply to a small overhung corner and finish to its left up easier ground. © Rockfax
