White Mines - Rusty Wall © petegunn
This short limestone wall is found at a disused mine on the south side of Gasdale, which is the valley just to the south of Murton Pike. Only four routes, though there maybe other possibilities.
As for Murton Scar but after going through the gate follow a track rightwards that crosses a ford. Follow an obvious track, below Delfekirk Scar, which leads to a rocky valley, passing a few finger posts on the way.
The crag is on open access CROW land. However, if the MOD Red flags are flying please don't venture past the "Danger Live Firing" signs further up the fellside. Access to the crag is not effected. There is a map at the carpark indicating which areas are restricted.
