UKC

450m, 14 pitches. A subsidiary buttress from the Wildgrat of the Wildhorn. Partially equipped (all anchors except the summit scramble). Easy approach from the Wildhornhutte leads to loose first pitches before the quality improves markedly until the final summit scramble. Descent via the North Ridge or summiting the Wildhorn (very loose intitially)and returning to the Wildhornhutte via the NE Flank (F) or the Geltenhutte via the Col du Brochet (PD+).
A superb alpine rock climb but not one to be underestimated, ability to deal with loose rock an essential.
Excellent topo to be found in Hochtouren Topofuhrer:Berner Alpen.
Pitches: 2, 2b, 3a, 4b, 4a, 3b, 2b, 3b, 2c, 3b, 4c (3c AO), 3a
