Overhanging short wall and adjacent boulder in the Budgate plantation near Cawdor.
Approach notes
Drive to Cawdor. Just as you approach, from the West (Inverness), take the first turn south as you get into Cawdor. Follow this road until the parking for Cawdor woods at NH 80422 49055. Roughly 10 miles from Inverness.
Walk past the obvious single bar gate in the parking layby going West. Walk for about 50m and pass a small boulder on the left. Turn left off the path just past the boulder. Cross a fallen tree and pass a couple of large trees and the wall and boulder are clearly seen. 2 minute walk in!!
