Eliminate line between Canine Crack and The Sun is Shining Down, staying between and avoiding both cracks. Protected initially by the bolts on the latter, then by the bolts and lower off of Dog Face. The hard section starts with a jump to the hole (the vertically challenged may opt to use the crack initially to obtain the same position; the grade will be unchanged provided the crack is abandoned immediately thereafter). For the avoidance of doubt, the good foothold just down and right from the hole is in.
