| Barre de l'Escalès (Verdon) - Hellfest 7a *** Led 1,2,5,7 & 9 which resulted in me having most of the worst pitches, felt like this had some good climbing interspersed with bad quality rock or mediocre climbing. Last 7a pitch was possibly one of the worst pitches I’ve climbed in a long time, basically just steep choss, not sure if the route has changed after a rockfall? Pulled a big hold off which almost hit Ben so just pulled through on the draws. Felt like a very average route for the verdon up to that point anyway. with Ben Kelsey |
