 Faraday Crack8 hrs, 1.20 miles (0.15 mile/hr, 400:03 per mile) Morning. Shunted the short access line after cleaning a slightly lower start (to avoid the wet stuff further up the gully and add a little length). It was too cold to try the groove (Gauss's Groove?) again so I cleaned the crack to the left (Faraday Crack?) instead. That warmed me up so I shunted it. It was pretty hard but with enough gear and on the final abseil after shunting it I spotted a crimp in the middle of the hard bit that I had missed. It will probably make it easier? |
