Blacknor South - Don't Kill Me 4a *
First outdoor climb of the 2025 season so decided to take it easy and climb this route with the familiy - The first climb since breaking my leg late last year. It was cold to start with but the sun shine soon came around. Lots of seepage in the rocks. Very quite - I have never seen Portland so desolate. We joind by another group who were climbing the Sacred Angle Area and that was it!

Blacknor South - Vertically Challenged 3b *
Another familarisation climb at the start of the new year. Trying to find that rythem again with the family dynamics..... First couple of easy climbs under out belt..... happy days

Blacknor South - Imperfect 3c *
First outdoor climb of the 2025 season and through we would start with an easy one. Needed to work out the family dynamics again (who would lead, who would belay who and who would clean). Oli did an amazing job of starting right at the very bottom and starting with the overhang..... and made it look easy! I don't believe this should be a 3C with the overhang at the start :-)
