Harrison Stickle summit 736m The night before, I camped on Pike Howe in my new Lanshan 2 tent, I can say it was a very comfortable, peaceful and pleasant night. After breakfast and packing up,I headed off to Stickle tarn. Getting there, I saw that people had been camping there and was thankful for where I had camped. My first fell of the day was Pavey Ark and this would be climbed via the North Rake. After reaching the summit, I made my way over to Thunacar Knott. Not the best looking fell, but does afford some wonderful views. From there I made my way over to Harrison Stickle, the highest fell of the day. The weather was still fantastic today, though it was a bit more breezy and a few more clouds. After Harrison Stickle, Pike O’Stickle was next. On Pike O’Stickle I played around with my drone and had some lunch. I spent an hour here. It is a beautiful summit to hang around on. The last fell of the day was Loft Crag. Of all the times I’ve been to the Langdales, this was the first time I’ve ever been up Loft Crag, and I wasn’t disappointed. From Loft Crag, I descended via the path that runs alongside Dungeon Ghyll to Pike Howe and back to the car park. That night I camped at Baysbrown campsite. It was a nice campsite and will stay there again. Tonight dinner was Thanksgiving bomb with custard and fruit for dessert. The route was from Black Crag on YouTube, season 3.
