Ben Nevis - Tower Ridge (Summer) D ***
Blue skies above, gentle breeze, wonderful climbing - doesn't get much better really. Did wander down a couple of the traverses, but it's ultimately easy to tell when you have to. Approach shoes did the job fine, nothing particularly thin.

Ben Nevis - Direct Route VD **
Quite tricky to follow the route, far fewer crampon scrapes and less polished than Tower Ridge proper above. Got into a bit of a tricky smeary section which was surely not quite right, soloists beware. The chimney was certainly the physical crux, but if you deviate later, there are sketchy bits to be found!
