| Cairn Gorm - Stob Coire an t-Sneachda - The Magic Crack HVS 5a *** This is simply brilliant. Ice tool / crampon scars are rounding off holds. This is the very top end of HVS - almost every single move of pitch 3 is 5a. But not 5b, and as there is a rock 5 or rock 6 every metre or so, you couldn't give it E1 5a. Could you? There is that Pembrokeshire classic that gets E1 5a for being sustained..... with Daniela |
