Crib Goch - Crib Y Ddysgl - Crib Goch Traverse (Summer) Grade-1 ***
Just really fantastic. Did PYG track > Crib Goch > Llanberis path (descent). Right knee blew up on the way down but a brilliant afternoon out. Started at 1330, hit Llanberis by 1930 but would have been quicker without the knee hampering pace, a fit team can do the circuit in 4-5h easily. The ridge itself is fine if you're used to any sort of vertical terrain and are confident enough to trust your hands and feet. I can see why the novice walker might get cragfast but stay on the left side (if heading toward Yr Wyddfa) and you should be fine. (This is not official advice, do your own risk assessments!)
