| Ailefroide - West Side of the Valley - Sueur de bouc 6a ** Onsighted the first pitch but was metally unprepared for the bolt spacings, length, rope drag and sandbagginess. Felt the slab deserved a high 6a at least and then there's the rooves to come. Would have agreed with 6a+/6b. Nice climbing though! And thoughtful bolting considering the length - used 12QDs Eric arrived feeling similarly sandbagged and weary of the next pitch.. Not the day of gentle cruising we hoped for so we abbed down. with Eric 40M |
