| Hægefjell - Reven n6- ** Trad introduction for a friend. His first trad lead. He lead first 50m of the first 60m pitch (4) and built a belay right before the bolts (they are hidden from view until the dihedral ends). A bit spicy following, knowing he had never used a guide-plate before, but I felt comfortable since the terrain was easy. I lead the next 10m to the bolts, to let him lead the next easy pitch (4-ish) and to free the cams from the belay. I lead the nice crack pitch (6- in guide, feels like 6-/5+). Bailed after that to make it home in time, but I'm declaring it a send since I've lead the remaining easy pitches before. with Aleksander |
