![]() 1 hr 15 mins Evening. Just a quick one to finish ticking the crag after a swim on a far too hot day. Climbed Crumbly Rib 3rd go, first didn't look where the holds were, 2nd foot slipper on first move. Very crumbly and didn't bring a wire brush. Climbed Trump Pump first time after practicing the moves for the 2nd face I'd been pumping out on before. Felt so much easier, could chalk up and almost rest on holds I'd fallen off last week. Also quickly worked out moves for staring in lower break on 2nd face then crossing through to sidepull just before corner to come around and up to higher break for last face and did first time from the start. Obviously no ledge coming around the last corner. Lastly climbed the vague unnamed/unnumbered problem from Martin Crocker's guide. Small slab between Yar Tor Block and Overlooking Wall. Onsighted from sat start on right arete, awkwardly bunched moving left on good feet poor hands to use top of wall only on the left. Felt quite arbitrary so tried to do it not using the top break until past the diagonal arete. Ended up being very technical and took ages to work out, most of the difficulty was moving feet. Reached around to break left of arete (strictly not above it on corner) then again to high jug and topped out with feet up slim diagonal feature. |
