For years I have dreamed of an encounter with this chimera of the crag. Today I found it, at last. Only to fail at the last hurdle. Finding the exit squeeze too narrow I squeezed upwards. After half an hour of thrutching during which the voices of other passing humans became fewer and fewer so that I began to fear a lonely benightment, my battered thirteen stone body emerged into the daylight. Can I still claim the route...? Or, can I claim it as a new route? Still a classic.
