The BMC has received an invitation to send 2 experienced ice climbers to participate in the this year's Ice Festival.

The 16th year of the Argentiere La Bessee Ice Festival will take place from 4 - 8 January 2006. Last year 24 nationalities took part in sharing their passion for ice climbing. Transportation is laid on to the main venues throughout the day and there are also a number of workshops, slideshows, competitions and social events throughout the meet.

The BMC is invited to nominate 2 guests to represent the BMC at the meet. If you are an experienced and confident winter climber that leads to Scottish III and would like to be considered please contact [email protected]
