After surviving a 100 foot groundfall that resulted in a fused back and neck as well as the amputation of his right leg, Craig returned to climbing with a new perspective.

e is the first amputee to climb El Capitan in under a day, lead the first All Disabled Ascent of El Capitan,and has climbed El Cap four times since his accident in 2002. He is a two time National Adaptive Climbing Champion, and a two time Bronze Medal winner in the Adaptive World Championships.

He travels, climbs and teaches adaptive climbing clinics all over the world.
