Jorg Verhoeven began climbing in 1997 in Amsterdam. He won numerous international youth competitions, before moving on to the senior circuit, where he won the overall Lead World Cup in 2008. He moved to Innsbruck, Austria in 2004 and retired from competitions in 2018 to focus on rock climbing. Jorg is a true all-rounder, with a free ascent of The Nose and a passion for alpine climbing and mountaineering. He has ticked 9a sport and an 8C boulder.
